INTEGRATING TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
WITH WESTERN PHARMACY
中医结合医生，药剂师

一株小草改变世界，一枚银针联通中西，一缕药香穿越古今，中医药学是中华民族的伟大创造。英文老师周楠带领学生们进行中西药店的体验之旅！
A single herb alters the course of history,a silver needle unites distant realms,a whiff of herbal scent transcends epochs;traditional Chinese medicine stands as a monumental creation of the Chinese civilization.English teacher ELF guided students through an immersive odyssey into the realm of Chinese-Western pharmacies!
前期准备
从前期准备和学生们一起设计药店标志和装饰，制作医生英文处方单，二维码标识，英文病症和对应药名及药剂用量，学习和制作数十种中药英文名称及药效书签。
From initial preparations and collaborative logo designs and decorations with students,to crafting English prescriptions,QR code identifications,English symptom translations,and corresponding drug names and dosages,students delved into learning and creating numerous English translations for Chinese herbal medicines along with efficacy bookmarks.
实景再现
在课堂上学生们身穿白大褂，模拟就诊流程，每组的医生和药剂师都用标准流利的英文和患者进行沟通病症，给出诊断，开药并详细介绍每种药的药效及用法。每位病人在就诊结束后会对自己的医生和药剂师进行评价和反馈，最后校领导对最佳医生及药剂师进行颁奖，鼓励他们的认真和专业！
In the classroom,students don white coats and simulate the consultation process.Each group of doctors and pharmacists engages with patients in standard and fluent English,conducting symptom discussions,diagnoses,prescribing medications,and providing detailed explanations of each medication's efficacy and usage.Following consultations,patients evaluate and offer feedback on their doctor and pharmacist.Finally,school leadership recognizes outstanding doctors and pharmacists,fostering their diligence and professionalism.
体验操作
孩子们还学习很多专业英文医药知识，动手制作香囊，了解中药茶文化！周楠老师通过中西药店这个职业项目，融合中西药学，科学及营养学知识，让学生全方位体验中西药的文化差异，并将所学知识运用在平时就医买药的真实场景里。
Additionally,children acquire substantial professional English medical knowledge,craft sachets by hand,and delve into the world of Chinese herbal tea culture.Teacher ELF seamlessly integrates Chinese and Western pharmacology,science,and nutrition knowledge through this vocational project,allowing students to comprehensively experience the cultural contrasts between Chinese and Western medicine and apply learned knowledge in real-life medical treatment and medication purchasing scenarios.
职业拓展
课后进行职业，在自己的家乡收集药店的地方特色文化并分享，同时在加荣平台上进行英文医药知识的检测和反馈。
Simultaneously,she documents local cultural pharmacy features in her hometown and shares them.
