As time marches on, the curtains of the new school year slowly draw back. With a strong heart, each student embarks on learning again after a long break. We should cherish time and live up to our beautiful youth, looking up at the vast sky and lamenting the passing of time. Learning is an endless journey. To overcome all challenges, we hope to keep the original spirit and move forward with perseverance and determination.
乾坤初转，时序更新，新学期之帷幕，缓缓而启。昔日风尘，俱往矣，今朝学子，心怀壮志，再踏求知之旅。望苍穹之辽阔，感岁月之匆匆，吾辈当惜时如金，不负韶华春光。学问之道，无穷尽也。愿诸君秉持初心，以坚韧不拔之志，披荆斩棘，勇往直前。
As time passed and the seasons changed, the relaxed holiday quietly ended. On August 18th, the beautiful campus again came alive with vitality, laughter, and joy. "Good to see you" and "Welcome back" were exchanged in the warm and lively atmosphere as we explored the new changes on campus that started a vibrant new school year together. 39 G8-12 students and student council members volunteered for the return night. They arrived at school early, worked with the dorm parents to assist their fellow students in moving luggage, patiently guided their new classmates and helped with their classmates’ bedding. The volunteers, dressed in red vests, added brightness and beauty to the campus. A special thank you to these dedicated volunteers; their efforts made the return night even warmer and more memorable. 日征月迈，岁序更新，轻松的假期悄然落幕。8月18日，美丽的山海校园再度焕发活力，笑语欢声此起彼伏。一声声“好久不见”，一句句“欢迎回来”，在温馨热烈的氛围中，全校师生共同探索校园新事物，迎接元气满满的新学年。39名G8-12的同学以及学生会成员们积极报名，成为返校夜的志愿者。他们提前回到学校，与宿导老师携手，一起帮助同学们搬运行李，热心向新同学做校园介绍，帮助他们整理床褥。身着红色马甲的志愿者们，成为了校园里一道亮丽的风景线。特别感谢这些无私奉献的志愿者们，他们的付出让这个返校夜更加温馨和难忘，让我们为他们点赞！

In the early morning of August 19,2024, as the first light of dawn broke through the sky along with a light rain, students navigated the bustling campus hallways as they began the new school year. They followed the rhythmic sound of the morning bell to begin their journey into the new school year. The leadership team arrived early at the school's avenue and gate, braving the rain to greet students as they opened their class of the new school year, handing out umbrellas, greetings, high fives, and even hugs. Sea Dragon students and parents have also been infected by the deep atmosphere of enthusiasm that has not been seen in months.
2024年8月19日，晨曦微露，细雨如丝，小海龙们踏着晨钟的悠扬旋律，穿梭于熙熙攘攘的校园楼道，踏上了新学年的征途。教学领导团队一大早便抵达学校大门和校园主路，冒雨迎接前来上课的学生，递伞、问候、击掌、甚至亲切拥抱，海龙学生和家长们纷纷被这数月未见的热情深深感染。
At 8 o'clock in the morning, guided by their teachers, students from the kindergarten, primary, middle, and high school levels gathered in their formal uniforms. They were ready to embrace the new school year. Inside the gymnasium, school leaders and subject teachers eagerly awaited the students' arrival. As the Sea Dragons entered the lively space, the teachers stood and individually welcomed each student with genuine emotion. They offered handshakes and conveyed warmth and encouragement.
早晨8点，在老师们的带领下，幼小部、初中部与高中部的孩子们身着统一的礼服，依次进入学校体育馆，以一场盛大的开学典礼来迎接新学年的到来。学校领导、学科老师们列队相迎，带着最真挚的情感，与每一位小海龙击掌，传递他们的温暖与鼓励。
The ceremony began with Head of School, Mr. Quirk, delivering a welcoming speech with boundless enthusiasm. While everyone was wondering where the 12th-grade students were, they were guided by Vice Head of School, Dr. Jaramillo, Vice Head of High School, Mrs. Ailincai, and the 12th-grade Student Dean, Mr. Abbott, as they entered the gym with confidence. All eyes were on these young individuals about to embark on their journey beyond high school. The Sea Dragon faculty and students filled the air with thunderous applause and cheers. They offered encouragement and wishes to the 12th-grade students as they hoped them success in facing challenges, coming up with goods and achieving their goals at prestigious universities.
典礼的序幕，在校长Mr. Quirk洋溢着无限激情的开场白中拉开。就在大家对场地中最核心位置空空如也的椅子充满疑惑的时候， 12年级毕业班的学子们在副校长Dr. Jaramillo、高中部副主任Mrs. Ailincai以及12年级学生督导Mr. Abbott的引领下，踏着稳健的步伐步入会场。全场师生的目光不约而同地聚焦在这群即将展翅高飞的青年身上，掌声雷动，欢呼声此起彼伏。全体海龙师生们以这样的方式，为12年级的学生送上鼓励与祝福，愿他们能在高中生涯的最后一年，乘风破浪，不负众望，收获心仪大学伸来的橄榄枝，书写出属于自己人生的辉煌篇章。
Finally, the Head of School, Mr. Quirk put on his guitar and took the stage to sing a song called “The Garden Song” and led all the teachers and students to learn it word by word. The catchy melody and lyrics brought the ceremony to its climax. And the powerful scene of teachers and students singing along deeply impressed everyone's heartstrings.
