　　Celebration of Pi Day

　　庆祝圆周率日

　　We had the pleasure of celebrating Pi Day on Thursday!Our students enthusiastically participated in math challenges set up in my office,where they worked collaboratively to solve problems and earn House Points and awards.Witnessing their joy and determination as they tackled each challenge was a delight.I am so grateful to be part of a school community that makes each subject fun and exciting to students.Just as we celebrated reading last Thursday,to celebrate and highlight the joys of maths this Thursday was so exciting and fun!

　　我们还有幸在周四庆祝了圆周率日！学生们兴致勃勃地参加了在我办公室举行的数学挑战赛，他们通过合作解决问题，获得了校内积分和奖励。当他们攻克每一个挑战时，看到他们的喜悦和决心，我感到非常高兴。我非常感激能成为这样一个学校社区的一员，这个社区让每一门学科都充满乐趣，让学生们兴奋不已。正如我们上周四庆祝阅读，以庆祝和强调数学的乐趣一样，本周四也是如此令人兴奋和有趣！

　　I’m thrilled to announce the success of our recent Upper School Maths Week!The entire school has been immersed in an atmosphere of mathematical excitement,thanks to the hard work and dedication of Mr.Zien and Mr.Lawrence in organising this event.

　　Throughout the week,students engaged in various activities and challenges,showcasing their passion for mathematics.We are proud to recognise the outstanding achievements of our Mathematicians of the week:Ronald,Kemi,Kevin,Vincent,Paramvir,Nahiya,Connie,Nemo and Ariel.Their dedication and excellence truly exemplify the spirit of Maths Week.
