Dear teachers and classmates,

Good morning!

I am Zhang Jiayue from 5D.

As the morning sun shines over our playground and the national flag rises once more, we gather here at a meaningful moment — facing the most important assessment of the semester: the midterm exam.

So, what does this exam truly represent? It is not merely a number or a grade. Rather, it serves as a "growth report" built from every moment we focused in class, every page of notes we took, and every exercise we completed over the past few months.

If you’re feeling nervous, here’s a helpful way to overcome it: think of the exam as a "check-up" for our minds. Mistakes are not failures — they are signals that show us where we can improve. Similarly, scores help us understand how much we’ve grown. Beyond knowledge, the exam also tests our courage to face challenges, our wisdom in managing time, and our perseverance to keep moving forward.

That’s why preparation matters so much. Just as athletes warm up before a game, our review is essential. We must connect scattered knowledge, study tricky topics repeatedly, and treat every practice test as if it were the real one.

Of course, there is no “easy win” in studying — only consistent hard work brings real results. That means we should follow the teacher’s guidance closely, allocate time wisely, avoid procrastination, and bravely face challenges. Asking questions and discussing with peers aren’t signs of weakness — they’re the true shortcut to improvement.

And let’s not forget: those late nights staying up to study, those early mornings spent reviewing — none of that effort is wasted. It will all transform into confidence in the exam hall and a bright light in your eyes as you look toward the future.

So, as we approach this challenge, I leave you with this thought: "Give your best, leave no regrets." Remember, the midterm exam is not about comparison — it’s about progress. If you try your hardest and value every minute, you’ll be able to say proudly, "I did my best, and I grew!"

Now, let's march forth! With our pens ready and our dreams to guide us, let’s face this challenge head-on and write our own incredible story of achievement.

老師們、同學們：

大家早上好！

今天，當鮮豔的五星紅旗在我們面前冉冉升起，我想與大家探討一個與我們每個人息息相關的話題——團結與集體榮譽。

我們每一個人，都是集體的一份子。從班級、年級到我們整個學校，我們共同構成了一個密不可分的整體。一根筷子易折斷，一把筷子折不斷。這樸素的道理告訴我們，團結能匯聚成最強大的力量。運動會上，為同學吶喊助威的每一聲加油；大掃除時，互相協作的每一個身影；學習小組裡，為解決難題的每一次熱烈討論……這些看似平凡的瞬間，正是團結精神最生動的體現。是團結，讓我們在困難面前變得堅韌，在挑戰面前充滿信心。

而這份緊密的團結，自然催生出崇高的集體榮譽感。它是什麼？它不是一句空洞的口號，它是我們維護班級環境時的那份自覺，是我們在各項評比中力爭上游的那股勁頭，更是我們聽到學校獲得佳績時，內心湧起的那份由衷的自豪與喜悅。集體榮譽，就像滋養大樹的沃土，我們每個人都是樹上的一片葉子，只有根系茁壯，枝葉才能繁茂。維護集體榮譽，就是維護我們共同的尊嚴與形象。

同學們，個人的力量或許微小如星火，但當我們緊緊凝聚在一起，就能匯成照亮前方的璀璨星河。讓我們從此刻做起，從身邊小事做起，心往一處想，勁往一處使，用實際行動去愛護我們的班級，去榮耀我們的學校。

因為，我們每個人的名字，都與這個集體的榮光緊密相連。

今天升旗儀式上，我校為參加「AI賦能 智啟未來」深港青少年科創實踐活動及校園天才表演中獲獎的同學頒發獎項。恭喜所有獲獎同學！你們的努力與才華值得喝彩，也期待更多同學勇敢探索、閃耀舞臺。
